Cluster Flies
Cluster flies have a strong resemblance to the common house fly however they are darker in colour and larger in size. They pose no harm to humans but are quite annoying to have. They enter your home in late summer or when temperatures start dropping because they are looking for a place to hibernate. They will hibernate in your attic or in between your walls. In the spring when they awake they are rather slow moving and congregate in windows. The feces from cluster flies can stain your walls and curtains, and the can attract other insects into your home such as larder beetles which feed off of the dead fly bodies.
Signs you might have or could get cluster flies are;
